Envy

After painting several small dailies, I was restless to make a larger painting. I was finding unexpected colors in the shadows and tried to capture them -- and for some reason I just had to leave the green pear's shadow green. The overall colors came out more dramatic than I planned but I like it nevertheless, at least in real life.
